#How to manage when someone scolds you?
Do not carry the luggage
Yes friends.
I was travelling to Bangalore. Just opposite my seat, a middle-aged woman and a girl in her 30s were sitting.
As a friendly gesture, I smiled, but the middle-aged woman didn’t even smile.
But another woman gave a warm smile.
I started to read Ponniyan Selvan, but the old lady is scolding her.
When I was about to get down, I asked the other one, How are you tolerating?
The lady said, ” I do not carry the luggage. I act as if I do not have ears. ”
Great philosophy in simple words.
I liked it.
After the initial Greetings, my friend Maya told me her problems. I said,” Do not worry, these are passing clouds.
Later, after returning from shopping, I met my next-door neighbour.
She chit-chatted then complained about her ill health, her sons getting average marks.
Blah…. blah..
In the evening, my aunt shared her bad experience with the Doctor.
I got a message about the above complaints.
Everyone is ready to share their problems. They focus on it 100%. They do not want to think about solutions or how to overcome the struggles.
This is a lesson for myself, too.
Yes. Try to think about the solutions.
Plan two or three strategies, and work one by one.
Consider how to adopt and implement the solutions. Life is short; savor the moments.
Share good vibes with your family and friends.
Everyone has problems. It may be different.
Shift your attention towards the solutions and let go of the problems! Embrace a mindset that seeks answers and opportunities, rather than dwelling on challenges.
Stress is a silent killer. Yes, we are forced to face stress in this fast-paced technological life. Everyone, from small kids to old people experiences a stressful life.
Since we are feeding our minds with negative news, horror movies, crime news, and accidental news our minds are stressed.
Implications of stress:
Due to stress, many health issues arise.
Diabetic, Hypertension [both higher and lower], digestion, gas trouble, obesity, thyroid problems, skin problems, and insomnia.
The pressure in the working environment, schools, and traffic was also a reason. The nuclear family where children are not secure, office tension, and household work make many youngsters face a stressful life.
Even kids face stressful lives. They are not allowed to play outside as there is no safety, and zero tolerance is one of the leading situations. Though people are educated, patience is not inculcated.
How to face a stressful situation:
However, feeling good is the only remedy. 1. Sit in a calm, relaxed manner or a serene place without any sounds. 2. Close your eyes, take a deep breath. 3. You can do flower breathing.
# Day 2 [Simple tips to clean the toxins in the mind]
The mind is so powerful. It has got a lot of potential. It is in our hands how we deal with the mind.
Power of Mind :
If you train your mind, it will become your servant and obey your commands. On the other hand, if you allow the mind to take control, it becomes the master. Practice any habit for 21 days, you can establish it as a routine. Many experts and yoga practitioners recommend the mantra “Make it for 21 days.”
This simple yet powerful concept emphasizes the significance of consistency and discipline in shaping our behaviors and mindsets.
All ages can do this exercise. No Formal training required:
Assume you are breathing in [inhale] the smell of flowers. Inhale and say to yourself “Relax Mind”. Then breathe out [exhale]. Do it whenever you feel stressed.
eg: “Whether you are stuck in traffic, facing worker absenteeism, watching a horror movie, or being insulted by someone, practice ‘Flower Breathing.’ This technique can help you manage stress and maintain your composure.”.
Flower breathing works wonders. This helps to avoid stress and clears the toxins in the mind.
#Do not carry prejudices and ego with you.
“While we travel, do we carry our luggage on our laps?
No, we keep our luggage in a safe place and enjoy our journey.
Similarly, life is also a journey. Why carry unnecessary ego, misunderstandings with others, or prejudices?”
Keeping the old incidents that would have happened many years ago in the mind affects our digestion. Also, it affects our emotional balance which leads to dementia, depression, and many other diseases.
“Whenever your mind takes back to unwanted incidents, always practice ‘Flower Breathing’. Certainly, you will feel better and notice positive changes in your mind and health.”
Gradually your mind will be free from clusters.
Take a flower and smell it. Close your eyes take a deep breath count for 4, hold for 5 counts, and exhale for 7 counts. Repeat for 5 rounds. I assure you, you would have got diverted after practicing flower breathing.
